Stir Fry Chicken and Vegetables with Oyster Sauce
After lots of days of having fried stuff, I guessed this was the time we had to have a proper dinner. I mean something with lots and lots of greens in it and something that every members of the family would like to eat with any force what so ever. So, there was this meal, lots of greens with a secret oyster sauce that would please every member of the household, including the little one. You could use almost any combination of greens available in your fridge. Just remember not to cook the vegetables too long, so they could stay crunchy.
Ingredients
- 250 gr chicken breast fillets, sliced
- 1 small carrot, sliced
- 1 small zucchini, sliced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 100 gr bean, chop into 2 or 3 parts
- 1 tomato, chop into wedges
- a handful of roasted cashew, optional
- 2 cloves of garlic, sliced or minced
- 2 tbsp of oyster sauce, more or less according to your preferences
- little bit of water just enough
- salt and pepper
- oil for stir frying
Instructions
- Heat a generous amount of oil in the wok.
- Add garlic to the wok. Stir for couple of minutes.
- Add tomatoes and chicken slices, and stir it to combine. Add little bit of salt and pepper and stir until the chicken are cooked.
- Add oyster sauce and stir.
- Add the rest of vegetables and stir. Add a little bit of water to prevent the sauce from burning. Cover them for 3 -4 minutes.
- Add roasted cashew before serving.
